I have SMT3000RM2U that when the power goes out AND batteries are fully depleted, it does not automatically turn back on when AC power is restored. I have to manually turn the UPS back on. I have the user manual that gives some information about how to accomplish this but the options shown in the manual are not the same options shown on the LCD of the UPS. Even if they were, I don't understand what all of the various options do. Not concerned about outlet group and all that, just to have the UPS turn back on when AC power is restored. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Brad,
If the LCD options on your UPS are different from those shown in the user manual, you can upgrade the firmware of the UPS as some firmware revisions did bring changes to menu elements.
As far as the UPS turning output power on when AC power is restored, those settings are related to the main and the switched outlet groups - primarily the Turn On Delay and Minimum Return Time values should be set to 0 for both the main and the switched outlet groups. If these are already set to 0 then it may be worth installing the associated management software that allows enabling to automatically turn on all the outlet groups when AC utility power returns.
