Question about UPS SMT3000IC (bevor buying)

Dear All,

I want to replace my 2 older Smart UPS 2200 Tower (both with management Card AP9617 and Powerchute Network Shutdown running.)
to the new model SMT3000IC.  (European 230Volt Version)

I saw that SmartConnect is included, but that is not interesting for me.
I saw also that the UP SMT3300IC has a slot for an extension board.
Now my question about this: Can I add here the Management Card 2 (AP9630)?

So that I can more or less replace my old UPS´s and have it like bevor?

As I searched for a replacement UPS, it was on the configuration not 100% clear if the AP 9630 can be used or not in the SMT3300IC.
I use Powerchute Network Shutdown and want to continue using this, with the new UPS´s also if possible.

Hi Bernhard,

Yes, you can certainly get an AP9630 and use that in an SMT3000IC, along with PCNS. You do not need to use the SmartConnect feature.
