Hi,
I work in a engineering office and we would buy a sai to protect:
-Synology NAS DS213
-Router
-Switch 16ports
-3 pc's i5 with 24"monitor
-Another similar pc in the future
We want only one sai to protect all. With 10min of autonomy is enough.
We are thinking to buy apc back ups pro 1500 or smart ups 1500
What model you recommend? whith 900 it will be enough ?
Thanks

Hi,
Assuming you will want to have the system power down gracefully when the UPS is running on battery with no user interaction I recommend a Smart-UPS with a network management card and PowerChute Network Shutdown. As for the correct Smart-UPS, that will depend on the power draw of the load and the required run-time. You can use the UPS selection tool to find the proper Smart-UPS.
