Replacing Battery APC 1500 Rack Mount and Disconnecting
Hello All. I have some 1500 rack mount APCs that are reporting "At least one fault battery exists." I'm going to order some replacements, but have a couple of additional questions.
In the meantime while waiting for the replacement batteries, is it okay to disconnect the battery plug from the UPS?
I've removed these batteries before on past UPS and the adhesive can make it very difficult to remove the battery. I've gone at it from the bottom of the tray and prying out from the side of the battery. Does anyone know of a good method that usually doesn't leave the existing battery shaved or dented? Thanks.
