Powershute 7.5 or 8.5 will not install Agent in Windows XP Pro SP3

Product Smart-UPS 1500 FW:601.3.I USB F:1.5 Software Powershute 7.5 or 8.5

After upgrading motherboard to my PC Powershute a few days ago stopped finding my UPS although it is found in windows Device Manager by the native battery controller and can be managed in Control Panel\Power Meter.

I can install the server and console components but installing the Agent runs with no detection of the UPS and stops with message
< Agent Installation failed to complete reboot and try again>
There is no way to get this to work. So I am forced to look for another UPS supplier

Hello John,

If the model number of your UPS starts with SUA or SU then PCBE 7.5 should work fine. The most latest PCBE that would detect your UPS is PCBE Agent 8.0.1. I have listed some links below that would give you an idea about the different versions of PCBE and the Operating System that they support.
