Hello everybody. Since I just registered to this forum I hope that this topic wasn't talked about before, so no mod has to close this Post.
I installed an APC SmartUPS 3000 for a Customer. The SmartUPS has an Management Card built in, so it's possible to manage it. After connecting the Device to the Customer Network and installing the Powerchute Software however, I saw that the SmartUPS has 2 IP Adresses. Does anybody know why that is? I haven't installed this device before and just want to understand it better!
I would appreciate it if you guys could help me out here.

Hi,
PowerChute IP address 192.168.178.2 is the IP address of the computer PowerChute has been installed on. Address 192.168.178.4 is the IP address assigned to the network management card that is installed in the Smart-UPS.
