Hello, I realize the reconfiguration of a Smart-ups 5000 with a management card AP9630 (with sumx 6.4.6) and powerchute network shutdown. I added a test agent and I would like to simulate a power failure to verify that the powerchute configuration is operational before adding other agents.
Is there a way to do this simulation without disrupting the rest of the diet?
Thank you in advance.
Philippe

Hi,
To test the system you could configure a lost communication event between the NMC/UPS. Do not select turn off UPS and then remove the network connection between the PowerChute client and the NMC/UPS. When PowerChute see that communication has been lost it will power down the OS but will not power down the UPS.
