Hi,
I have an AP7721 and I noticed that the +12V power supply has failed however the -12V is still on an o.k. status. What is the reccommened course of action? My building is taking down one leg of power for maint next weekend, will this PS failure prevent the switch from trasnferring to the other leg? Or should I replace the unit immediately? Any advice? Thanks

honestly i am not sure. i will look into it. i know on switched rack PDUs for example we have a primary and secondary power supply and if both fail, it will usually cause the PDU to drop the load since the power supplies power the relays that control whether the outlet is on or off.
i'll see what i can find out

generally a power supply fault requires a unit replacement but it might be good for you to post the event.txt first to verify this is not a false alarm due to something else. you can follow these instructions to get event.txt -> http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9321
