I got the alert a week or so ago to say there was an update for PCBE to v9.0.1 (I was on 9.0.0 I think) and so I duly upgraded to it. However whenever I reboot the server or start the console it prompts me again that there is an update.
I've checked in Control Panel and I have 9.0.1.606 installed and I'm running Windows Server 2008 R2 - any ideas why it still thinks I need an update?

i will have to check into this on our end but if you go to the PCBE console and then go to the preferences option, you should have the ability to disable the option to check for updates while we address this.

Hi Taomyn, it could have been that the upgrade process did not fully complete. I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the 9.0.1 version and that should take care of your issue. Hope this helps.

hmm..i found out that this is an issue that we need to address in version 9.1. i think they adjusted the APC end of this to stop notifying you so you just won't know about updates in the future - but there are none yet.
so for now, we need to fix the auto-update feature on our end. you should stop getting the alerts now though.

Nope, just got another after rebooting the server - another server. That's 3 separate systems all doing it.
