I have tried to install the powerchute software, both home and business, but neither recognize my APC UPS . The front of the UPS says NS1250, the serial number sticker says BN1250 (NOT BN1250LCD !). The serial number is JB0514025XXX. Is this supported?

Thanks Luis, using your information I found that the original cable went bad so I found another USB type A to RJ-45 cable with the same wires connected and now have the latest PCPE installed and running.

Yes the BN1250 is compatible with the monitoring software PowerChute Personal Edition. Make sure that you are using the correct communication cable USB to RJ-45 part number 940-0127E. You can download the latest version of PowerChute Personal Edition here:
