Good Day, I have a SmartUPS 1400 which I put a UPS Network Management Card 2 into. I use the UPS on routers and switches I want to keep it on for as long as I can during a power outage. On the web interface for the card UPS/Confiuration/shutdown/Start of Shutdown I have options, but don't know what I should set them for to make the UPS not shutdown (or wait for the runtime limit). Two options are Low Battery Duration (max is 10), Shutdown Delay (max is 600). It doesn't seem like setting these options to their max will do what I want the UPS to do (give me 20 minutes of runtime?).
How can I set the UPS to not shutdown (best) or or shutdown at the runtime limit?
Thanks,
Ken

Hi,
The setting you mentioned would only be used if your were running a application like PowerChute that was sending a power down signal to the UPS. The UPS will continue to provide power until the batteries are exhausted if you are not running a application that will command the UPS down.
