Hi,
I recently acquired an older model Smart-UPS 1500 (SUA1500L) with a AP9630 network card. Without knowing what the network configuration was set to i proceeded to reset the card's configuraiton by pressing the reset button.
Now i can see that the status LED is slolwly blinking amber/green. I can see that my router has given it an ipaddress (this is evident in my routers connected devices list) via DHCP. I can ping this ipaddress. However, when i navigate to this ipaddress on the browser (firefox) i get a "Unable to connect"
Appreciate if anyone can suggest some troubleshooting tips.
Cheers

Are you using HTTP or HTTPS (SSL)? Browsers have been getting pickier and pickier about the types of SSL they will accept, and Firefox seems to be the worst offender. Could you try a different browser, or try using telnet to connect to the unit's administrative console? I assume you don't have the oddball mini-headphone console cable, or you would probably have tried that first?

I'd try telnet and ssh. Or a port scan.
The AP9630 comes with a cable labeled 940-0299 which has an RS232 plug on one end (goes to the computer) and a phono plug on the other (goes to the AP9630). It can be used to configure the device serially.
Check out the password reset procedure.
