2 Smart UPS + Servers room = have problem :(

Hi there,

I have:

Smart-UPS RT 5000 RM XL + AP9619 Network Management Card

Smart-UPS RT 10000 RM XL + AP9631 Network Management Card

and 7 HP servers (Hyper-V, SQL cluster) + other servers, pc...

I want shut down all servers from 1 server.

Server for Powerchute: windows server 2003. Smart-UPSs connected to this server on COM-ports. (COM1 and COM2). But i can see only 1 UPS. If connect UPS1, then i can see UPS1. If connect UPS2, then i can see UPS2. If UPS1 + UPS2, then i see only UPS1.   

Can i connect UPS1 + UPS2 on COM-ports, or it is impossible?

I tried to PowerChute Network Shutdown, but there are other difficulties.

How to do it correctly?

Hi,

When viewing Smart-UPS via Serial or USB connection you can only view communicate with 1 at a time. PowerChute Network Shutdown is designed to run with redundant UPS. What is the issue you are having to prevents using PowerChute Network Shutdown?
