Hello,
I was using a Demo SpaceLogic Evaluation valid until September 1st on 2 ASPs running on EcoStruxure 5.0 software. When I tried to add a new demo license on the device administrator valid until November 1st, I get a popup with the error saying Demo License Could Not Be Activated.
I've tried following the steps from the following Schneider Webhelp Pages.
SpaceLogic Automation Server Demo License Management:
https://ecostruxure-building-help.se.com/bms/Topics/Show.castle?id=14832&locale=en-US&productversion...
Return Demo Licenses on Automation Servers
https://ecostruxure-building-help.se.com/bms/topics/show.castle?id=14885&locale=en-US&productversion...
Returning All Demo Licenses from the Selected SpaceLogic Automation Servers
https://ecostruxure-building-help.se.com/bms/topics/show.castle?id=14928&locale=en-US&productversion...
Returning Demo Licenses from SpaceLogic Automation Servers
https://ecostruxure-building-help.se.com/bms/topics/show.castle?id=14840&locale=en-US&productversion...
I've checked the device administrator to see if the old demo license was still under the automation server but when I try to do this it says "No Products Found."
When I click the arrow next to the license status for each automation server there doesn't seem to be any previous expired license I can unassign. Only the previous message pops up as mentioned ^^
I've also checked but the "reclaim licenses", "return licenses", and "return all demo licenses on selected servers" are all grayed out or cannot be selected.
The only trace I can still find of the old demo license is when I check the license metadata under the server in Workstation, the ProductID still shows the old file name for the previous demo license which expired on September 1st.
I've done my best to attach screenshots for the above observations. If anyone could please help out to solve this issue, it would be much appreciated.

Before doing any license activations/returns, you must have a trusted connection with Device Admin. Currently, from the screenshots, I can see that there are invalid certificates. You can either trust this connection, add a certificate, or alternatively connect using HTTP.
Once you have this trusted state, i.e., the Certificate state shows either a Yellow or Green Tick, then you can attempt to:
1. Return all demo licenses, if any, that currently remain on the server, as shown below
2. Activate the latest Demo license
Hopefully this helps.

Hi Craig,
Thank you so much for the reply. Really appreciate it.
I tried following the steps in the video but after adding the license file with the same name as in the Product ID to the device administrator, the unassign option does not appear for me (the check mark does not appear in the "assign" box for me to uncheck/unassign).
I've attached pictures during the process following the video best as I could below. Is there anything I missed? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Robert,
Yes, this solved the issue. I trusted the connection, and the certificate state changed to a yellow tick.
Following this, I still didn't see any licenses to return or unassign but I was able to add the latest demo license with no issue. Thank you so much to everyone for the help! It was a much simpler fix than I thought.
