Security Expert integration to EBO via SmartConnector

Hello,

I'm struggling with Security Expert integration to EBO via SmartConnector.

I installed smart connector, attached a license, created a EWS server.

On EBO I created EWS interface, communication is online with smartconnector.

But how to read all the values from smart security to smartconnector so I could read them in EBO?

I'm using 2.4.17 smart connector

and EBO 3.2.2

Maybe someone has some advise what to do next?

Can you please clarify what data you do not currently have?

Are you seeing the EWS points which you need and just want to know how to bring this into EBO or are data points missing at the EWS stage?

I need to know how to launch SmartConnector. Because on my site Security expert and EBO is done by different companies. And other company is new with Schneider security expert system, specially when it we talk about integration.

So I need to know if they need to do something more in Security expert? Do they need to install additional EWS services for example.

And from my side how should I set up a SmartConnector? Do I need some extra extension so I could get all points from security expert.

I missing some information about this integration via SmartConnector. All I have found is about older integration using EWS and SOAP without SmartConnector.

Hi @Elt_Andrius 

So you do not actually have the Smart Connector installed and running yet?

The Smart Connector is currently undergoing Beta Testing so the full product and documentation is not yet released.

I would suggest that you either wait until its official release/documentation etc or see if you can join the Beta program at this late stage.

I see. So I already installed SmartConnector and started EWS server. From EBO I connected to this SmartConnector EWS server. The communication status in EBO is online. Everything seems okey. But I'm missing all the points from security expert. I don't know how to start this processor so I could transfer all the points.

Is there a possibility to join this Beta program testing. Because this project is going to it's end and I don't think that I can wait more longer.

Looks like the SmartConnector will be released next month but not confirmed yet.

The official SX Smart Connector Beta program is closed and now we are working towards an end of this Quarter release. So far so good.  What I will do is add you to the MS Teams SX Smart Connector Beta channel and you can ask your questions there as there are people there that can help with your immediate issues.

I found your post about step by step SmartConnector launching as a user guide. It was very useful.

I have few question. Maybe you can answer me.

I installed software, copied extension files, attached license.

As I understand I need to create and start EWS server from the extension ? This EWS server is where my EBO will connect right?

Then I need to set up a processor from the extension? In these settings in Security Expert setting are default ? Or I need to active soap endpoint and create separate user for this communication? 

And this EWS server is the same server that I created on SmartConnector portal, where all data will be stored?

Hi @Elt_Andrius 

You need to address all your Smart Connector questions to the MS Teams SX Smart Connector Beta channel that @Mike_Bielby  mentioned in his previous post for the time being.......

This is where you are most likely to receive support from people who have just completed the Beta program and have experience of setting up the integration.  Of course once the Smart Connector is released you can continue to post your Smart Connector questions here and raise PSS cases with your local CCC..
