[Imported] RealFLO Register Overlap
>>Message imported from previous forum - Category:Realflo Electronic Flow Measurement<< User: mchartrand, originally posted: 2018-10-17 19:05:18 Id:89 This is a re-posting from the obsoleted (October 2018) "Schneider Electric Telemetry & SCADA" forum.

**_Berkelium: Reading the RealFLO 6 TeleBUS protocol reference manual, it would appear that there is a register overlap between the AGA-7 configuration structures and the V-Cone Point 4 Reynold's Number and CoEfficient config. and actual registers. Is the manual correct? If so, are there any other known registers that overlap in RealFLO?_**

mchartrand: I believe that because V-Cone or AGA-7 cannot be configured at the same time, i.e. the flow computer can only do one type of flow calculation per flow run, that there may be some overlap of registers in certain places. We had to make use of a limited number of Modbus registers so there are certain blocks of them that do double duty.
