I am looking for a driver to connect to a BR10 using CMI smart cable with model # CMI-SMARTCABLE. The one i load did not work and the universal looks different from the one from Microflex. When i connect it does not assign a com port in device manager._**

The adapter used in the CMI-SMARTCABLE was never supported on Windows Vista, Windows 7 or higher which prompted the development of the Microflex USB adapter for Accutech.

You will be better off using the Microflex universal cable or some other USB adapter that is supported with your O/S.
