shark100 power meter (DNP3) - T300 RTU (2 output - 1 DNP3 going to other monitoring and 1 modbus going to PME)

hello,

Did anyone encountered this scenario or similar scenario?

how can I add T300 to the PME?

Do I need driver for T300 and shark100 in order to integrate it to PME?

Hello @benjoe_herrera ,

You can use the Device Type Editor to add the T300 as a Modbus device. The same can be done for the Shark 100 using Modbus protocol.

The Device Type Editor can be found in Management Console under Tools>System>Device Type Editor. You can select quantities from the measurement tree and map them to the Modbus points from the Modbus RTU device.

I've not built device types for the Shark, but there may be someone on the forum that already has.

Thank you @N4th4n13L

Hoping someone has device types for the shark100.

How about adding T300 on the device type editor, do we have modbus registry for T300? I dont have any idea on how to do it.

Hi!

The process has been described properly in the posts above. T300 is not natively supported by PME, so it requires a driver creation in Device Type Editor. For that you need to know the Modbus map of your device. This also means it will require a Mid-range device license per T300.

PME System Guide includes guidelines on how to use the DTE tool. If errors are experienced during the process - I recommend to reach out to tech support for troubleshooting.

Regards
