Hi we have a customer looking to add a battery system to their system, the switchboard already has existing powertags & PAS, which is makes things easy, but i am concerned energy measured is not bi-directional.
ie the battery system will charge & discharge at different times of the day, can we separate the two into distinct measurements to confirm the systems performance?

hi @Grant_IPACS
Can you please
1) update your panel server to last firmware1.6 to be sure that the PowerTag is managed as a bidirectional meter then verify if it solve your issue in the real time measurement web page (red rectangle in screenshot hereunder)
(links to download firmware and doc available in SE community Gateway and energy server post
2) If it does not solve your issue, can you please share the firmware version of the PowerTag available in Panel server web Page (available in red circle in screenshot hereunder)
Best regards

Hi @Thierry_Baudard , apologies, this was more of a capability question (as we have not purchased the unit yet), but from your post the answer it is capable.

@Thierry_Baudard so this means that even a really simple device such as a powertag is a bidirectional meter or sometimes called two-way meter???
