We are discussing with Cummins, for Energy Monitoring in Sync Panel...Application calls for KW & KWH input to Sync PLC and at the same time they need to give all parameters to Clients EMS or BMS. So for this can they use Analog Output from Meter for KW & KWH as input to PLC and RS485 or Ethernet connectivity from Meter to Client.
We have PM8M2222 with PM800....can it be used for above application ?
What alternate we can offer for above in PM5000 ?

Hi chetan,
Yes you cab use the analog output from the
PM8M2222 to sync PLC , one register should be linked to one digital output. For PM5000, i am now in the train, i will look for a solution this evening!

Sorry i meant analog output, and don' t forget max and min value. Your PLC should have an analog input 4-20ma

Not possible with PM5xxx - must wait for PM8000 I believe.

kWh and kVARh are accumulated value they keep increase you cannot use the analog output 2-40 mA, instead the digital output must be use to send energy pulses to the PLC counter.
