Hi All,
As we know one of the key features of the Varplus logic is to measure the remaining capacity of capacitors.
Based on the information shown in the above slide, I have two questions.
Thanks

Hello,
This feature( remaining capacity) will work for third party capacitors also. The purpose of this function is to make the customer aware of the remaining capacity. There is also an alarm SPL/NR alarm which is generated when the step value falls below 75% of the original capacity. Once this alarm is generated for a step that step is converted to Fix OFF. It's recommended to replace the capacitor when this alarm is generated.

Thanks for your information.
From the slide I showed above, Varplus Logic will evaluate dQ (just before – just after) every time a step is switched, so I guess we can use Varplus Logic in a brownfield project (which currently does not have SE APFR) to measure the remaining capacity of the old capacitors. Am I correct in that? Thanks
