Hi Xperts,
Just want to know which Powerlogic meter can provide the specifications provided especially the Thermal Demand Current, 15-minute averaging. I believe PM3250 will be sufficient for the provided specs but not sure with the thermal demand current.
Thanks in advance,
Jiedan

Hi @jedzruiz1985 Yes, the shared register list snapshot is correct for current demand. Sliding window demand for kW and kVA refers to configuring the power demand method as 'Timed Sliding Block'.
The power demand setting feature accounts for all three types of power—kW, kVA, and kVAR.

Hello @jedzruiz1985 Thermal demand calculation method is not available in PM3250. It uses block interval demand. You may consider PM5000. Please use our product documents for specification confirmation. Thanks!

Hi Akash,
Thanks for the info. I can't seem to find the thermal demand current from the register list of PM5000 meters.
Is it Demand System 2 (Current)?
How about sliding window demand for kW, kVA?
Thanks,

Hi Akash,
Great!
How do we configure the power demand method as "Timed Sliding Block"? Is on the meter itself or in PME?
Thanks

So I just have to select from the list of Methods? For example if the client wanted 15mins averaging on the current demand then... Maint>Setup>password>Meter>Dmd>Current Demand> Select "Time Sliding Block" > change the interval to 15?
