Hi,
we have sold our ION9000 meters with smaller display to our panel builder. when they connected the display to the meter, there is en error on the display, saying:
"your remote display needs updated firmware for compatibility with your meter"
please advise what needs to be done. it is the 96 X 96 sized display for the ION9000 meter.
Thanks
Gautam

Hi Gautam,
Could be related to the display's firmware version. Here is the updated package:

You will need ION Setup, the .bin file and FTP access to the device.
The procedure to follow is in the ION9000 User Manual (page 199; "Loading remote display firmware using ION Setup").
Here is the HTML link to that section in the online User Manual:

Thanks
Gautam

Hi Tom,
we had given this to our partner, to update...he must have done it. we had offered to go to his facility to do, but he had confirmed, he can do it on his own.
Thanks
