PM8000 User name

Dear

Can you make a custom user for the PM8000.

With custom user I mean a custom username that can log on the web interface of the PM8000.

I found the advanced security, that can be activated via ION setup. but I can't change the user name. It creates user1 , user2 , user 3....

Today, the ION advanced security usernames are not configurable.  They must be assigned as USER1, USER2, USER3, etc.  The users still have unique passwords and permissions, but the usernames themselves are not configurable.  This is the same on the PM8000 and on other ION meters.

I know that configurable usernames are on our desired list of improvements, but I am not aware of any roadmap commitments as of today.  If you see a strong market need for this feature, I would be interested to hear more (i.e. is this an end customer preference, or a regulatory need, or ...) to help with ongoing prioritization efforts.

I don't think you will sell more PM8000 if you add this functionality.

I had a customer that changes all his gateway password's to the same user. And we also use the PM8000 as a modbus gateway
