【PM8000】Frequency of synchronization with NTP server

Hello,

I set the sync interval with the NTP server to "1 day".

However, in reality, synchronization with the NTP server is performed quite often.

Do you know why this happens?

The event is occurring on multiple meters.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Metering Setup - Nameplate Info
FAC1 DeviceType 8000
FAC1 Revision 003.000.001
FAC1 Feature Set Standard
FAC1 Template 8000_V2.2.0.0.0

Advanced Ethernet - NTP
CL1 Enable NTP Time Sync NTP
CL1 NTP Time Sync Interval 1 day
CL1 Event Logging Threshold 0.02
ETH1 NTP Server 192.168.100.240
CL1 Time Sync Type UTC
CL1 Time Sync Source ETHERNET
Time Sync Count 0
Time Since Sync/Reset 19273003

The unfortunately named "CL1 NTP Time Sync Interval" can only configure SNTP time sync intervals (not NTP).

Be sure to configure the "CL1 Clock Source" to "Internal" ("COMM" is also acceptable as with NTP enabled it will behave as "Internal"). Never use an external time sync source with the Clock Source configured to "Line Freq".

If you continue to have issues, please contact support for additional troubleshooting steps.
