Hello, I am looking to link a PM5500 PM across over an ethernet connection to a rockwell PLC.
I have got the EDS file and its working, but I cant find the mapping details of whats coming across from the PM, am I supposed to be using explicit messaging to read the modbus registers? Or is the connection in the module created starting from a certain register?
Any assistance would be appreciated .
Thanks

Thanks for the reply Charles,
Those responses were not quite what i was looking for. I sat and worked out most of the mapping from the PM to the PLC and then found that it was matching the cyclic messaging block thats in the PM manual.
So I found the solution to the issue I was facing, but just hadnt found that detail listed anywhere, the EDS comes with the register list, but has alot of registers that are not actually brought across in the EDS comms.

Hello @AngusK ,
Not PM5000 series expert, wondering if the post in https://community.se.com/t5/Metering-Power-Quality/EDS-files-for-PM5560-and-PM5320/td-p/266317 is helpful?
Regards,
Charles
