Hi all,
Need your help please. This is what my customer has asked.
Can you please confirm.
Just a query; do you know the max devices that the PAS800 can handle officially also what is the “recommended” limit?
As in I know Com’X510 could connect up to 64 meters but it started to struggle with a lot less than that.
I am looking at a project where they want to connect 78 PM5560 meters to a ComX510. Would the PAS800 be suitable for this application or no?

Hello @JohnBoskovski ,
Better ask on the dedicated channel:

Please also have a look on the Panel Server Catalog to learn more about some limitations:
Panel Server Advanced and Universal are supporting max 64 downstream TCP connections (ETH devices). You can also connect up to 32 Serial devices without repeater. But just like Com'X, you may face some performance issues if you connect to much devices. For the moment, we have no documentation giving a "weight" per device and mentioning what is the maximum "weight" for the Panel Server.
Now my questions:
In any case, the Panel Server may not be suitable for all 78 PM5560. You may need to divide your architecture with 2x PAS800 with 39x PM5000 connected to each.
Regards,
