Hi All,
i got this case from my customer,
one of their PM is 5560 with firmware version 2.7.8, and other is PM5560 wtih firmware version 2.5.3
their PM5560 with firmware 2.7.8 is having unstable communication and usually loss communication after power failure/shutdown
and have to be restart the power supply
is latest pm5560 equipped with firmware version 2.7.8 ?
is firmware version 2.7.8 have been released (i cannot fi
can it be downgraded to firmware 2.5.3 ?

You can suggest to upgrade the latest version v2.8.3 from v2.7.8 by enabling the FTP (FTP is disabled by default)
Path for firmware file:
Please log the bFO case if the communication loss noticed after the firmware upgrade.

I am having problems with the clock, the meter is 6 hours ahead, I am in the -6 UTC time zone (Guatemala Central America).
I'm trying to get sync with ION SETUP which works for an hour then goes back to the early hour.
I wanted to install this firmware that you recommend v2.8.3 but it is no longer on the page, they deleted it.
Can you help me with this topic.

Please refer the attached firmware file for PM5560 v2.8.3.
Can you check if there is any other Modbus master (like PME) is overwrite the time after the time sync from ION setup?
There will be event recorded in the meter webpage, navigate to Maintenance -> Maintenance log.

I'll test it and tell you. I tell you that from the PME you can only set the time zone, there is no time synchronization option.
Among other issues that we have apart from the loss in the reports, there is also that the meter's RJ45 Ethernet ports lose connection and the only way to reestablish communication is to turn it off and on again.
The cases here in Guatemala are increasing, there are several clients that we have recent cases of this issue.

The PME server will sync the time of meter every hour.
For communication loss, we need to analysis by connect this meter 1 to 1 connection to a laptop and check if it responds for the ping from the laptop. This will clarify, is this issue is in the meter or in the customer network.
