PM2220 Energy and demand auto reset configuration

Hi, 

How can the date and month be configured for the automatic reset of Energy and Demand parameters on a PM2220?

There is a command register to set the date and month for 12 months to activate the Auto resetting. 

How this command can be configured?

Yes, PM2220 The easy way to configure the monthly auto reset is ION setup. 

The command number 2951 (Auto reset ) is added in ION setup as "Auto reset calendar".

You can edit the reset parameters 1 to 12 - programmed for 1st day of each month. 

Please note: the Auto reset calendar enabled only in PM2230V1040 device template in ION setup. So change the device template type to PM2230V1040 for PM2220 meter and configure this auto reset feature. We will add this in ION setup for PM2220 device type in future.

We tried this but this "Auto Reset Calander" was not available within the ION software. How I can add this or software version is different. If so, please share the software link to download.

As mentioned in my previous command, the PM2230 template option PM2230V1040 will allow you to configure the "Auto reset calendar". So connect the PM2220 meter and select template option as PM2230V1040 to view the Auto reset calendar option in ION setup.

When attempting to utilize the 'Auto Reset Calendar' feature, I consistently encounter a 'Device not responding' error after a brief loading period, despite having configured the settings as instructed. What might be causing this issue?

Please check the communication between the meter and ION setup machine. Device not responding will be displayed in ION setup if the communication is not stable.

Is it possible to set another date other than the 1st of every month? Also, is there a method to automatically reset only the kVA demand ?

You can select the date in ION setup and press the number which you want to change. 

There is no option to reset only the kVA demand.
