Out of curiosity I had a quick look and a couple of points of strenght that I thought of are:

  • The depth of the PM5000 is designed to fit into newer compact panels. Adding modules to the meter (like the Accuvim) for features that are included with the PM5000 like Ethernet and I/O will take up more precious space in the panel.
  • Schneider Electric decades of experience in Power Monitoring and manufacturing of power meters.

We've integrated some existing AcuVim (AccuVim) Series II meters with a new PME system - the AcuVim II specs are pretty good but on probably 4 or 5 of 6 of these meters the LCD screen had died (with some sections permanently on or off). The AcuVim software the client had looked very basic, nothing like dashboards, diagrams etc... So I'd sell the PM5000 on reliability and being able to interface to useful software (PME!).

(By the way, we have a type-tested AcuVim II MDI device type, contact me if you are interested, but hopefully they go with the PM5000).

Hi Daniel,

I have System Integrators locally working with the Acuvim II. Do you mind to share your type-tested AcuVim II MDI device type for PME? Thanks in advanced!

Hi Daniel

Kindly share your tested Acuvim II MDI device type as we are also facing issues to integrate to PME.

Thanks for the support.
