New Firmware release V2.2.1 for ION9000 (including ION9000T)/PM8000/ION7400 !!!

With the launch of Firmware V2.2.1, We have moved a step closer towards making our meters more secure. New firmware is available for ION9000 (including ION9000T), PM8000 & ION7400.

Firmware version 2.2.1 supports

1. Secure file transfer protocol (SFTP), completely replacing FTP. SFTP adds a layer of encryption, through secure socket shell (SSH), that helps prevent unauthorized access, uploads and downloads to the meter.
2. a new setup register that you can use to configure DNP timeouts

Use the latest version of ION Setup (version 3.2 or later) to configure your meters.

have PSO or PME adapted to support SFTP for ION meters? If yes, does this support for SFTP extend to 3rd party devices?

I can't seem to find any info on release notes/system guides, either for PME/PSO2020 nor respective CUs

For PSO, we do not support SFTP from the meters either the ION9K or 3rd party meters.

I'm curious what type of "support" you would like to see from PSO & PME regarding SFTP for ION meters?

PS. The latest ION Setup does support SFTP for most use cases with ION meters (3rd party protocol configuration, etc)
