Is the cable you are using is a sheilded one. Try once connecting with a new cable and check. You can try reading the data by using any converter on both plc and the device. If both of them are communicating through modscan, then try communicating them again.
Check the data lengths also. Some times if it's a float value and you have given an address which is not available it may throw errors. Try reading one value with one block. If it gets communicating try add the other variables.
