Hello,
Maximum Connections of ION protocol is 8, is it possible to allow the ION8650 being access by more than 8 ION connection? If not, how to delete/disconnect other unnecessary ION connections?
Thanks
Leo

Hello @Liangchen1982 ,
No, 8 is the maximum ION connections. To close connections, need to go to the source and close the connection. Certain changes to Ethernet com module will reset the Ethernet stack and drop all connections. Example of change could be IP address.
Regards,
Charles

Thanks @Charles_Murison
Changing IP address remotely could lose the communication, I am wondering if other changes of Ethernet COMM module like enable/disable Webserver could also reset the Ethernet stack and drop all connections?

Hello @Liangchen1982 ,
Some changes do and some changes do not reset the Ethernet stack. I do not have a list of all possible setting changes that reset the stack.

Charles
