METSEPM89RD96 as ION9000T display

Hello Experts,

Will there be any impact on the display if we use METSEPM89RD96 as the display of ION9000T? Are there any limitation?

As already mentioned in another forum with similar topic "Display for PM8000 and ION9000":

ION9000 Remote Display (METSERD192, 192x192 mm) is not compatible with PM8000, however, PM8000 Remote Display (RD96, 96x96 mm)is compatible with ION9000, and ION7400 meters (with proper firmware updates).

Unlike the RD192, which features a touchscreen, a wider viewing area, and a more advanced user interface, the RD96 display uses push-buttons and lacks touchscreen capability.
