Ion Setup for VoltageCT's.
Good day,
I am trying to use 3000A:1V CT's on an Ion 7550 (Correct unit) and have used the "Telnet" function to programme the meter BUT it is not working 100%.
Below is the way I set the meter up to have a User Device for 3000A:1V and 10A:1V CT's.
Connecting to the meter 1. From the Windows Start menu, choose Run... and type the word telnet. Click OK. 2. Type Open 3. Type in the meter IP address when prompted and press Enter. ie.(< to> ip address) 4.Type the meter's login and press Enter. 7550 - Login: 7550, Password: 0 5. Type “?” for meter Help screen and press Enter. A list of menu options appears. 6. Type 9 6. Type KAL? (Display Calibration Help Screen). 7. Type kctrd - To display current CT settings 8. If settings are not the same as the settings given in the attached image, then 9. For User Defined 2 (small CT's): Type kctstp CT-10A-1V 10 1 0 2 44 10. For User Defined 1 (for 3000A CT) : Type kctstp CT-3000A-1V 3000 1 0 1 44 11.To read that the new parameters have been written to the meter, type in: kctrd Press Enter.
