ION900 - IEC61850 Ed1 & Ed2 compatability

Hi Experts,

Recently i received .cid files of ION9000 with Ed2 from our technical support team.

May i know did ION9000 will support Ed1 also ? or it will support only Ed2?

Hello @Dhananchezhiyan ,

ION9000 is certified with Edition 2 only, the factory will only provide Edition 2. If you know enough about the differences between Edition 1 and Edition 2 versions of PM8000 device it is possible to backwards engineer what an Edition 1 version would look like.
