Hi,
Would anybody have any ideas when using the V trend page on an ION7650 it is displaying a message "value out of range"
The meter is setup and working fine, nominal voltages are all set correctly, meter type is all set fine, the trend max scale sets itself to 220V but the measurement value if going above that from time to time and the graph doesn't appear to scale correctly hence the message
I have looked in the manual and it doesn't appear you can change the scale so i presume it must normally auto scale to a % above the measured/logged value ?
Thanks

Fixed it myself, its tied to the PT/VT primary setting, was noted in a later version of the manual than i had.

OK, just to add to this, having looked at some photos from site of the meter in question, the scale is 240VAC which is the nominal voltage +10, the value that is trying to be displayed it the L-L Avg which will be 400VAC, hence why its out of range, how do you select these values, can they be changed via the front screen ?
The manual quotes:
The Trend Display screen graphs the historical data of up to four different
parameters simultaneously. A movable cursor that consists of the intersection of a
vertical line and a horizontal line displays the value and timestamp of any plotted
data within a parameter. The cursor displays the values of one parameter at one
time only. With the Up and Down navigation keys, the cursor can move from one
parameter to another.
The ION 7500 front panel displays three preconfigured trending screens: V-Trend
(voltage), I-Trend (current), and P-Trend (power). The ION 7600 must be
configured using Designer in order to provide Trend Display.

OK, i have answered my own question on the meter screens config, you need to use Designer to add values, this doesn't however explain why the value (VLL Avg) that is set as default is out of range....
