ION7650 - DNP3 device profile and timestamp resolution
I have recently been playing with an ION7650 using the DNP3 protocol in order to get time stamped digital alarms into PSE7.30 and I've noticed that all of the digital input events seem to be stamped at a 1 second interval. This is backed up by the copy of the device profile i found (dated december 2006) which states that the "Binary Change Event Scan Period, fixed at 1 sec".
Is there a more up to date version of this device profile? Will there be any updates to the meter firmware to provide a higher resolution for the timestamps of DNP events within the meters?
