A customer has some relatively old ION7500, ION7600, ION7550, ION7650 meters. I think the oldest one is an ION7500 with firmware rev 7500V207. They want to add Ethernet com cards to these meters.
Is there a minimum firmware requirement for adding an Ethernet card to an ION75xx / ION76xx? Obviously the Ethernet cards will be brand new from the factory so I want to make sure they will work with these very old meters.

Per http://www.schneider-electric.com/en/faqs/FA212380/ , it should work with all legacy meters. BUT, I would defintely consult with someone with more in-depth knowledge on this, because the same KB said the new card cannot support 7X00 meters, because it has a higher power consumption, and it got updated later. I happened to have both versions (RESL201444)
