ION Setup - Files Location

In an effort to keep only one repository. one updated repository, of the ION Setup Installs and Meter Programs. It was determined the most accessible location would be in Box. As such, please find attached the link to Box where you can find all things related to ION Setup.

Not all SEC users have access to the =S= Box account. Can you advise how an external partner can get access?

The Box link was posted as a convenience to the US partners. As they sometimes need earlier versions of the ION Setup tool.

Here is a link to the Schneider Electric Global web site where the latest version of ION Setup 3.0 can be found, and is accessible to everyone. (I hope!)

As an FYI, the Box contract account that Schneider Electric has, does allow external partner access. It only requires an invitation be sent to the individual email account.

Is Box a better repository site for you as a SE partner, to access these type of tools?

Yes Dan. Box is perfect. Way better than the Global site navigation and manipulation.

If you are looking for the absolute latest release of ION Setup which I update regularly, I upload it to Box (in the Updated Versions folder):

and also a FTP location:

Password: <no password so leave this field blank>

The webpage on the =S= website usually has the latest official released version but usually lags behind as it takes quite some time to get things updated on there.

Rob,

It would be really helpful to have the version delta information somewhere (even if it just says 'big fixes' like iOS apps). We need to understand the version change history. Does that already exist somewhere in the installer?

Hi James,

I try and comment on every release on Box and indicate the major changes/updates in the comment field. Unlike PME, I try and post updates at very short intervals (almost bi-weekly) so don't want to spend a huge amount of time posting information in multiple locations.
