The size of each record of a WaveForm Recorder module as stored in the ION7400 flash ranges from approximately 2kB to 8.5kB depending on the "Format". Most formats are between 7kB and 8kB.
The total size of a WaveForm Recorder module as stored in the ION7400 flash can be approximated Record size x "Depth".
The total size per module may not exceed 10MB (max Depth is about 1200 to 5200 depending on configured format)

Hello @Charles_Murison
A customer wanted to know this in order to define the capacity of a new storage disk. Their system requires an important number of waveform captures.

In that case, please disregard my above answer to a completely different question.
You are concerned about some software system (PME? what version?) and database system impact on capacity, and not the ION7400 capacity.

Hello @Veronika1 ,
While you can use Dan's post as a guide, note that PME will store waveform data in the same database as logging and event records. Therefore, a much more complex question than simply how much data per waveform.
For greater details recommend reaching out to technical support. The link https://digital-energy-help.se.com/pme/content/8_reference/planning/ref_dbgrowth.htm could be of some help.
