• Data traffic generated per second, minute, or hour for real-time monitoring.
• Impact of different measurement configurations on data volume.
• Factors to consider when estimating bandwidth for real-time data transmission.

Detailed information on these aspects is crucial for evaluating network infrastructure needs in our project.

This is a bit of a loaded question. A lot will depend on what the ION7400 is connected to. Most of the communication will be poll response. Depending on what is talking to the ION7400 will have a bigger bearing on what the traffic will be like. What protocol are you planning to use? If polling for real time, how often, how much data?  Just real time monitoring or onboard logs too? 

If onboard logs what is getting logged and how often? Will you read all logs on device or just some? Are you expecting PQ events, if so that is another factor has waveforms are usually included with the PQ events.

Short answer, it depends.

The client's workflow will involve utilizing both ION Setup and a web application.

Here's a breakdown of their anticipated usage:

• Real-Time Monitoring: They will periodically access the web application to view real-time measurements from the meters.
• Data Retrieval: The client will likely use ION Setup to download the meter's data logger and waveform data.

With this additional information, is it possible to estimate the approximate traffic that would be used?
