HDPM6000 system
Hi,
Can anyone offer any assistance with the following issues that we are constantly seeing with installation and testing of HDPM6000 systems?
Normally we are using the 42 channel HDPM6000R interface in IEC channel configuration mode. After the basic commissioning, setting up CT types and channels, etc, we are seeing the following issues:
When viewing the various CTs on the associated HMI or with the web interface, the response is extremely laggy, meaning that the screen refresh rate is very slow or sluggish in response, channel information in the various columns appears then disappears, changes in loads take quite a while to correctly display on the HMI, etc.
Is there a way to change the colouring of the channel number background, as it can get slightly confusing with the blue background getting confused for a neutral channel especially scrolling down the available listing.
If anyone can suggest methods of getting the information to display in a real time manner, this would be a great benefit.
You did not mention the firmware version of the HMI whether it is V1.0(the old version) or V2.0, which has some improvements.
Since HMI is communicating over Modbus serial line with HDPM6000, please ensure the baud rate is the fastest one which is by default is 115200. This behavior can be observed for the first time during commissioning when the HMI tries to poll data from all branches. Once the communication is established, the update rate will not be the same as it was the first time.
Changing the color is not possible as it is hardcoded. Depending on how and from which angle the user is viewing the HMI, such as at a sharp angle, it can distort how the background colors are perceived and may appear different.
