Communikation Problems with EGX100 and SIM10M

Hi,

I want to implement analoge Inputs with the help of SIM10M and EGX100 into PME.

The cabeling is the same way it is described in the install Manual:

Dips of EGX100:

1= OFF

2,3,4,5= ON

Dips of SIM10M:

1= ON (because for testing only one device is connceted)

2,3,4=OFF

Cabeling:

D0 -> RX-

D1-> RX+

I also tested different Settings without luck.

SIM10M is configured with USB and Slave Adresse is set to 1 (all other Settings are Standard)  -> LED Switch from Orange to Green

SIM10M Baud: 19200, Parity: Even Stopbit:1

EGX100: Baud: 19200, Parity: Even, Mode Master, RS485.2wire, Responsetime 3 sec

I want to read the Registers in Webpage of EGX100 but there is always a timeout 😞

What could be wring at this configuration?

EGX100 Firmware: 3.000

SIM10 Firmware: 1.2.0

Sven:

Is this a new EGX or is it a repurposed unit from an old PowerLogic job?  Check that the web page under devices is set to the correct protocol.  An address can be set to PowerLogic, Modbus or JBus.  If it was on a string with older equipment it may be set to something other than what you need.  Long shot but worth a look.
