Choosing LVCTs for PM5320R meters

Hi,

The link for the PM5320R LVCT meter installation guide suggests that solid core 3-in-1 Quick Click LVCT range can connect to these power meters (E.g. METSECTV45025 for 45mm centres, 250A:0.333V).

Are there any split core LVCT options available. What is actually required is a split core LVCT for 2000A : 0.333V ratio.

I have a list of split core LVCTs for only iEM3400, EM3500, BCPM and EM4800 meters, and Rogowski coils for iEM3500 series:split core CTs and Rogowski coils.JPGWhat similar options are available that are compatible with the PM5320R ?

Thank you for any assistance.

Hello @swil ,

The catelog page for the PM5000 series has a note on the bottom "PM5310R and PM5320R must be used with Schneider Electric 3-in1 LVCTs (ref numbers beginning METSECTVxxxxx)" https://download.schneider-electric.com/files?p_enDocType=Catalog&p_File_Name=PLSED309005EN_Web.pdf&... page 96. Same document also has page 103 with 0.333V 3-in-1 CTs with RJ45 for PM53x0R.

I do not believe the LVCTs mentioned in your post have the RJ45 connection at the end

Regards,

Charles.

Thanks Charles. I didn't think that question through.

The LVCT meter won't be used in this case because the solid core LVCTs recommended in the PM5320R (LVCT meter) installation guide do not meet requirements.
