Schneider Electric Software is proud to announce the release of EcoStruxure Geo SCADA Expert 2019, the newest version of our successful SCADA Host software.

Bringing increased efficiency in remote asset management, Geo SCADA Expert 2019 is a release that delivers a range of features and updates for new and existing users.

All users upgrading to this release will require a new license file available from customer support, and if upgrading WebX to Virtual ViewX you will also need Virtual ViewX licenses. These are required for both server and client upgrades. See the notes available here for further information.

New Product Features

HTML5 Client - Virtual ViewX

• Popular modern browsers such as Chrome can connect and use the Geo SCADA system

• There is no pre-installation of software required on the browser PC

• Full graphics support is available on PCs and tablets

• Some features previously only available on the full ViewX client are now available on Virtual ViewX. These include:

• Tabbed windows

• 'Pop-up' windows

• Search facility

• Edit multi-trace trends and save to favorites and document stores

MQTT Core Driver

• A new driver for MQTT devices.

• The first payload format available is a simple JSON format.

Redirect Alarm to Method by User

• Allows users and integrators to set up user-directed redirections such as to cloud-based voice alarm services.
