Geo SCADA Mobile is a system extension that provides real time remote access to SCADA data, allowing system users to monitor performance while "on the move", improving staff productivity and enhancing overall system performance.

Find the Mobile Apps in Google Play and Apple Store using the name Geo SCADA Mobile. The product is not available on Apple silicon Macs.

Enhanced Security and Efficiency

Communication to the phone utilizes SSL to enable appropriate encryption on transmitted data.

Custom Queries

Users can get access to tabular data providing easy analysis and comparison. Overall system KPIs for management, production summaries, system water flows, reservoir levels, etc. can all be easily added and made available to users.

Workflow Assistance

The database browser provides detailed status information related to any database object to allow for more in-depth system performance. Trends provide users with the ability to review historic data to make the right operational decisions for the future and user favorites allow users to store commonly used views on their phone for easy retrieval.

Mobile Displays

Geo SCADA Mobile also provides summary data displays for "at a glance" understanding of system performance and operation, bringing together important information from a single site, or even presenting summary information from multiple sites. These displays can also provide navigation to other features within Geo SCADA Mobile for a specific object within the database (e.g. event list for a group, or another mobile display).

Search

You can use a built-in search feature to find item names in the database.

Controls and Methods

Server-side configuration by administrators can selectively allow mobile app users to perform actions.

New in Geo SCADA Mobile 2025

We have redeveloped the Geo SCADA Mobile app to take advantage of advancements in technology and improve the user experience and security. In addition to supporting much of the existing functionality, we have enhanced the server and app to include graphical displays when connected to a Geo SCADA Expert 2025 or a later release of the Geo SCADA Mobile Server. There is a refreshed look and feel, with new ways to set up connections and interact with menus.

Current app users will also need to re-register their mobile devices, connecting them again to their Geo SCADA Mobile server. This is because the Device ID has changed. After updating, you will need to re-enter your server details and request device re-authorization from your Geo SCADA Mobile system administrator. You will need to do this even if you are not upgrading yet to Geo SCADA Expert 2025.

To take advantage of the new graphical displays in the 2025 release, server administrators will need to contact the licensing team to get revised licenses.

In preparation for updating the app, please record your server connection address details and ensure that your Geo SCADA Mobile system administrator is aware.

Other changes to Geo SCADA Mobile mean that you will need to recreate any Favorites that you have previously stored on the app. Also, the automatic alarm update polling feature supported by the Android version will not be available.
