📖HomeBack Some SCADA systems provide a page which shows the history of alarm related information - often referred to as an alarm summary page.
The ClearSCADA Event Journal is a list of messages used to provide a detailed record of all system events, including alarm activity. So all alarm messages, such as alarms being raised, acknowledged, cleared, disabled etc. will be recorded in the Event Journal. A column stored in each event record called AlarmStateDesc contains information that summarizes the type of alarm related event for each entry. We can use this text description to filter the event journal.
You can turn on display of the "Alarm State Description" column in the Server Configuration -> System Configuration -> Events.
