As part of our ongoing product enhancement program, Control Microsystems has announced the release of ClearSCADA 2010 R1.1, a service pack for ClearSCADA 2010 R1 providing feature enhancements and improvements to existing functionality. It is recommended that all users of ClearSCADA 2010 R1 install this build.

Product Changes

This release of ClearSCADA contains a number of product enhancements, including:

• Improvements to security

• New options to improve alarm handling

• New alarm redirection trip sequences to provide state and description information

• Improved logon to the web client

• Numerous fixes and improvements to DNP3 and SCADAPack Modbus drivers

Licenses

Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA 2010 R1 do not require an updated license file to run ClearSCADA 2010 R1.1. Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA versions prior to 2010 R1 who wish to upgrade to ClearSCADA 2010 R1.1 will need to update both their client and server license(s).

Note: License updates are free of charge with a valid SCADACare support agreement with Control Microsystems.
