Hi All,

A short question, if the upper client of PAS600 is Resource Advisor, a device model is necessary or PAS600 as a transparent gateway is enough?

If the upper system is a cloud service using ETP like RA, EAA ED, PAS is working in the same way as ComX.

You need to define :

what data you want to get and how often you want to get them (Polling cycle for modbus devices)
How often you want the gateway to push the data to the cloud

2 possibilities :

there is an embeded model inside PAS (predefined model) that provides the required data, you just need to use the model when you add the device ion PAS
There is no embeded model or the data inside the model does not suite your requirement, in that case you need a custom model. Custom Models are prepared using an online tool called EPC W (former Commissioning Web Portal). As of now only some Schneider Electric people can access it. The tool will generate a ZIP file with Json files inside that can be imported on the PAS in the Modbus device /custom models of the Web pages.

As per Guillaume's post, you will need to configure the devices locally to be polled by the Panel Server.

Then the logging profile can be pushed to the PAS via ETP from the "Advisor" (RA in this case) or EPC-Web.

If you do not have access to EPC-Web the RA project team can set the logging for you once notified that the local team has completed the addition of meters to the PAS, connected it to ETP and the values validated between the PAS and the meters display.

Please ensure the normal RA workflow is followed and this info is given to the RA Project manager or SB team you are working with.
